I know you've directed a few, including that awesome Astronautalis vid. Maybe this sounds silly, but how did you know what to do, where to start? I've shot some video but never directed anything! Did you find yourself with a real learning curve or did you just adapt from what you knew about still photography?

Good question! I went to a very film heavy university and I’ve worked as a photographer on several videos, which helped me understand how they are usually run. I also live with two cinematographers, one of which shoots all of my projects, so he’s a huge help when I start writing treatments and breaking down treatments into shot lists.
